I’d never really thought much about podcasts, until earlier this year when I was struggling with Labrynthitis, when I met with Occupational Health and she suggested trying listening to some to take my mind off things.
I’ve found that they really help when I feel panicky in work as I can focus on the voices and lose a few hours in my work without the distractions of busy thoughts. So I wanted to share some of the podcasts that have really helped me this year, just in case they might help you!
- Feel Better, Live More with Dr Rangan Chaterjee – I could easily lose myself in these podcasts. With episodes on topics varying from Happiness, to Plastics, each one is always full of useful information and interesting guests to listen too.
- The Food Medic – I am obsessed with finding out about food, nutrition and the gut. So I was incredibly happy to find Dr Hazel Wallace, who talks about a variety of food and health issues. So far I’ve learnt lots of new little nutritional ideas to help me.
- In The Moment Magazine – I absolutely love the magazine so was really pleased to find this podcast! They host a nice mix of guests and cover lots of topics, which you can easily sink into. From friendship, health to authors and self help, there’s lots to fill your mind with.
- And finally, my favourite – The Doctors Kitchen Podcast – With Dr Rupy Aujla. I absolutely loved this set of podcasts, not only is his voice super relaxing but him and his guests are incredibly knowledgeable. So if you like finding out about the gut or how to eat best for your health, this one is definitely worth a try!
I absolutely love podcasts and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to find them! I’d love to hear if you guys have any podcasts to recommend, or if you enjoy these ones. I think it will be my goal for next year, to keep exploring and find lots of exciting new topics to keep my mind busy!
